fter a long development and test period carried out in collaboration with triathlon athletes and with pro riders of the Androni team, the new Kalibur has been revealed to the public with important innovations, some of which immediately catch your eye, others are less evident.
The most evident modifications regard the brake positioning and the cockpit, built as a whole monocoque structure to offer more direct and precise steering. Both brakes, front and rear, have been positioned so as to gain maximum aerodynamics. The front brake is on the back of the fork while the rear brake is now placed under the bottom bracket shell. This new position has no negative impact on braking performance.
The cockpit gives excellent aerodynamics and a clean look. The same goal is achieved by the hidden seatpost clamp, in combination with the aero 2way seatpost with inclination options of 74-80°. Other important but less evident technical details include the bottom bracket which has been redesigned in order to house the BB386 standard, now typical of the whole Kuota Cycle range. Kalibur is Di2 Ready, too.
